I first gained experience of the construction industry whilst working for my father building extensions for his customers in my school summer holidays. This summer labouring job allowed me to gain valuable insight into understanding the design of residential properties, and how buildings are supposed to fit together.

 

When I left school I started my career as a Quantity Surveyor and have spent 16 years working on construction projects in and around London, which have ranged in size from around £200k to about £60m design and build projects. This early part of my career has given me a helpful awareness of property development and construction techniques.

 

I have been helping my customers with Party Wall solutions for the past 20 years and have always aimed for a conciliatory solution. I am comfortable working as a jointly appointed surveyor, but am also happy to represent the individual parties, and work with other surveyors to maintain my customer’s interests.
